3. Estimates and Pricing
- Standard labour rate: $23/hour (unless otherwise stated).
- All estimates are free and non-binding until a written agreement or invoice is issued.
- Prices are subject to change based on material costs, project complexity, or client modifications.
- Final costs will be confirmed before the start of any project.
4. Booking and Payments
- To confirm a booking, clients may be required to pay a deposit (percentage depends on project type).
- Remaining balances are due upon completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Payments can be made via cash, e-transfer, or other accepted methods.
- Late payments may result in project delays or additional charges.
5. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Clients may cancel or reschedule projects at least 48 hours in advance without penalty.
- Cancellations within 48 hours may result in a cancellation fee to cover labour and scheduling costs.
- GV Renovation reserves the right to reschedule work in cases of weather conditions, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances.
6. Client Responsibilities
To ensure successful project completion, clients agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the property and project requirements.
- Ensure safe and accessible work areas.
- Obtain necessary permissions, approvals, or permits (unless arranged otherwise).
- Avoid interference with workers or ongoing installations.
Failure to meet these conditions may cause delays or additional costs.
7. Project Timeline and Completion
We strive to complete every project on time and to a high standard. However, project timelines are estimates and may vary due to:
- Weather conditions
- Material availability
- Unexpected site issues
- Client-requested changes
GV Renovation will communicate any changes promptly.
8. Warranty and Quality Assurance
We stand behind the quality of our workmanship.
- Workmanship warranty: up to 12 months from the date of completion (varies by service).
- Warranty covers defects in installation or materials supplied by us.
- It does not cover damage caused by misuse, wear and tear, third-party interference, or environmental factors.
9. Liability
GV Renovation is fully committed to safety and professionalism. However, we are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing issues or hidden structural/electrical/plumbing defects.
- Damage caused by client negligence or unauthorized modifications.
- Delays or failures beyond our reasonable control (e.g., material shortages, strikes, natural disasters).
Our total liability shall not exceed the total amount paid for the project.
10. Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, logos, images, and graphics on GVRenovation.ca, is the property of GV Renovation.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without written permission.

In such cases, deposits or partial payments may be retained to cover costs incurred.

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada.
